GNA University organised one day workshop on ‘‘Modern Food Plating’’ by Chef. Rahul wali, Chefpreneur. The key objective behind organizing this workshop was to make students aware and practice students familiar with “Art of Plating”.

The workshop was delivered by the Chefpreneur Mr. Rahul Wali having the experience of more than two decade as chef with different brands viz Oberoi Towers , The Oberois, Leela Kempenski, Blue Diamond, Ramada Continental, Spice Restaurant, Radisson and more in India and Abroad.

The session was focussed sensitizing the students on the latest gastronomy trends in plating and presentation as plating and presentation makes a huge difference in home cooked food and food cooked in a professional kitchen by adding an eye appeal to the food. The session was well received by the students.

In the end, Dr. V.K. Rattan, Vice-Chancellor, GNA University presented memento as a token of gratitude to the guest.  S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University said, “Such workshops are important to prepare the students to hone new skills in their career advancement in hospitality industry.”
