School of Hospitality at GNA Universityorganised various activities under ‘International Housekeeping Week’ celebrations 2023. The objective behind celebrating this International Housekeeping Weekwas to make the students aware about the role of good housekeeping in cleanliness, maintenance and aesthetic upkeep of our surroundings and thus good health.International Housekeeping week is celebrated every year in the second week of September.

During this special week, different activities like Rangoli competition, Best out of waste competition, Room Division quiz, towel art competetion, Workshop on flower decoration, cleaning awareness drive at railway station Phagwara and appreciation and facilitation of University housekeeping staff were organised.

The staff facilitation was done by the Chancellor, GNA University S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra and he also distributed certificates to the winners of different competitions. He even said,
“I appreciate the endeavours of the SOH departmentin celebration this week with great pomp and show.”

Among other dignitaries present wasDr.  VK Rattan,the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Hemant Sharma, the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academics and Dr. Deepak Kumar, Dean SOH.
