GNA University, School of Hospitality (SOH) organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Eco Friendly Practices in Today’s Hotel Industry’. Mr. Kamal Kumar, Associate Director Housekeeping, Radisson Blu and Park Inn, Amritsar, was the resource person for the talk. The objective behind organizing this Lecture was to aware students about the latest practices, usage and usage eco- friendly certifications required by hotels today.
Mr. Kamal Kumar, through his vast experience of 21 years with Eros Group, Jaypee Hotels, Hilton Hotels and Radisson Hotels group discussed every aspect of eco-friendly practices being followed by Industry. He said, “The hotel industry is brimming with latest practices and eco-friendly certifications and students must grab the opportunity of learning it. “
The session was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Deepak Kumar; Professor and Dean, School of Hospitality (SOH).
The Pro-Chancellor, GNA University, S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra said, “Such talks make students aware with the latest updates of the industry.”
