NSS wing of GNA University has organized a Tree Plantation Activity on August 03, 2022. This is an important step of a forestation to maintain the ecological balance of nature. The students reported the site on time and were given sapling of the trees which were managed by the NSS wing of GNA University. A total of about 150 trees were planted on the university campus and were furthered watered by the students. Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dean Academics, NSS & NCC Coordinator, All Dean & Faculty, NSS and NCC Volunteers were present their and they expressed the importance of planting trees and saving nature. The students were also asked to share their feeling after planting trees.
Overall, it was an enthralling activity wherein all the faculty members and the students participated with full zeal and zest. At last a Vote of Thanks given by Dr.Hemant Sharma Pro-VC, GNA University. S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University expressed, “I appreciate the efforts done by NSS wing of GNA University for organising such activities.
