The School of Hospitality, GNA University celebrated National Tourism Day with great enthusiasm and participation from students, highlighting the theme “Tourism for Inclusive Growth.” A variety of cultural and academic activities were organized to raise awareness about the importance of tourism in promoting inclusivity and cultural preservation.
The event witnessed remarkable participation in activities such as poster-making competitions, where students expressed their creative ideas about sustainable and inclusive tourism. The culinary competition showcased India’s rich gastronomic heritage, with participants preparing traditional regional dishes that emphasized diversity in food culture. The Rangoli competition brought together vibrant designs reflecting the unity in India’s diversity. Additionally, mesmerizing cultural dance performances celebrated India’s traditional and regional art forms, leaving the audience spellbound.

The event successfully provided a platform for students to showcase their talent, deepen their understanding of India’s cultural heritage, and recognize tourism’s role as a unifying force in society. The activities fostered creativity, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity among participants. The celebration concluded with appreciation for the students’ efforts and a commitment to promote sustainable and inclusive tourism practices.
