GNA University celebrated the world Photography Day. The Faculty of Animations & Multimedia arranged multifarious activities as well as a Photo walk for the students to explore the skills of photography.
In Photo walk- the communal activity, many camera enthusiasts gathered in a group to walk around with a camera. During the Photo walk, the participants took pictures of things that interested them. The photo walk was executed in two locations “, Doraha Fort & Lodhi Fort (Purana Qila) near Ludhiana.
This one day event made the students learn how to face the hurdles and overcome them by giving their best capture using different camera angles and techniques. This activity boosted the energy among the students. Amazing pictures were clicked at both the locations followed by the celebration of the main event.
S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University inaugurated the event with photo exhibition and sculpture made by the creative students of the department. Mr. Bhindder Burj, Director & Producer and Arundeep Teji, Cinematographer were the chief guests of the event.
Leading lights of the PhotographyIndustry graced the event to inspire students and share their insights. Reminiscencing the childhood days and career path of Mr. Bhindder & Arundeep, they expressed the experiences of their initial days of professional careers. Spelling out their work ethic and citing examples from their past projects, they enthused students to always give their best.They together put the spotlight on incredible career opportunities in the industry, learnings, huddles and zeal to always be on toes and put the best foot ahead for the challenges.
The Faculty of Animation & Multimedia even organized a photography competition both for the faculty and the students. Prizes were distributed to the winning faculty & students.

The Vice-Chancellor, Dr. VK Rattan, Registrar, Dr. RK Mahajan, Dean Academics Dr. Monika Hanspal and other Deans & Heads of various departments praised the diligent efforts of faculty members and all the students who took active participation in such activities and wished them good learnings for more such practices.”
