GNA Business School at GNA University organized a Workshop on Business Model Canvas for the students of BBA, BCOM final year & MBA First and Final Year on March 24, 2021 on the virtual platform Blackboard.
The esteemed Resource Person for the session was Dr. Ashish Arora, Head of the Department (HOD), University Business School, GNDU College, Jalandhar.
The Guest Lecture started with the welcoming of the esteemed resource person by Dr. Parveen Singh Kalsi, Assistant Professor & PG Course Co-ordinator, GNA Business School. The Guest Lecture aimed at acquainting the students with different business models and the impact of application of such business models towards the cost and revenue analysis of different business organizations.
Dr. Ashish Arora started his session with the evolution of the concept of Business Model and illustrated that in what sense creation and implementation of such business models is important for the fruitful success of different business organizations.
The guest speaker then further went on to elaborate the different aspects of business model and different streams that are involved and embedded into it. He then took live examples from the industry of some well reputed companies such as Google and LinkedIn. The resource person elucidated the benefits in the long run that these successful business houses have derived following such business model.
Overall, it was a applaudable session wherein all the students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. The session concluded by a Vote of Thanks given by Dr. Parveen Singh Kalsi, Assistant Professor & PG Course Co-ordinator, GNA Business School. The session ended on a knowledgeable note.
