GNA University recently hosted a distinguished event to honour and felicitate its students who had the prestigious opportunity to participate in the Republic Day Parade. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Chancellor SardarGurdeep Singh Seehra, Vice Chancellor Dr Hemant Sharma, Dean Academic Dr Monika Hanspal, NSS Coordinator Gurmeet Singh, NSS Program Officer Dr Neetu, and NCC Coordinator Ms Navdeep, alongside the Deans and Heads of Departments.

This momentous occasion was a testament to the students’ unwavering commitment, exemplary dedication, and commendable achievement in representing the university at such a significant national event. As a mark of appreciation for their tireless efforts, the students were joined by their proud parents, whose steadfast support played an instrumental role in their success.

The event’s highlight was a skilful drill demonstration by the NCC cadets, exemplifying their rigorous training, discipline, and perseverance. The university also took the opportunity to recognise two exceptional students who represented GNA University in the Republic Day Parade—Anatveer, a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering student and an esteemed member of the NSS contingent, and Jai Adit, an Aerospace Engineering student and a distinguished NCC Cadet. Both students were presented with tokens of appreciation in recognition of their outstanding contributions.

In his address, Chancellor SardarGurdeep Singh Seehra expressed his appreciation for the student’s efforts and lauded the parents for their continued support in nurturing such talent. He commended the dedication of both the students and their parents, highlighting the importance of such national events in shaping a student’s personality and fostering a sense of patriotism and discipline.
