Faculty of Computational Science takes immense pleasure to organise the
workshop with coordination with CRD on “Python Programming” dated
27/02/2020. The main focus of this workshop is to make students aware the
applicability of the Python language; which is consider prominent in almost
every field from IoT to Machine Learning. Python cover the entire span of the
technologies. Faculty of Computational Science is always eager to take the leap
to share the current trends and technology with the students. Faculty of
Computational Science always encourage the student to excel in their interested
filed.
In the session the speaker, Mr P. Sahu, from Mohali was resource person to
deliver the inputs of Python to our students and the vision of the university is to
develop and promote the spirit of science and technology to students, enabling
them to have hands on feel of technology and its applications. Our core belief
lies in propagating the concept of ‘learning by doing’- Knowledge by action.
During the workshop students and faculty members has been introduced to
basics of Python and the modules throughout the day.
Dr. Umesh Seigal, Dean FCS, offered his deep gratitude to the resource person
for giving the students of the GNA University a chance to attain the current
trends and the basics hand on top the python programming. Dr. Narendra
Awasthi, Registrar, Dr. Monica Hanspal, Assistant Dean of System and
Operations, Mr. Abhishek Sood ,CRD Team in their respective inspiring set of
speeches, conveyed best wishes and gave warm welcome to the resource
person. The vice chancellor and pro vice chancellor have always been at the
forefront of every activity at the university. Sincere thanks to them from FCS
